Forster-Long provides up-to-date information to their clients on America’s courts, judges and lawyers. Forster-Long now keeps track of this information using a centralized web application, increasing efficiency and productivity in the workplace.
Before Forster-Long came to us, they were publishing books on the nations’ courts, judges and lawyers yearly. On average, this meant that clients were looking up information that was six to eight months out-of-date. Forster-Long then came to us to see what they could do to ensure that their customers were viewing the most up-to-date information possible. The resulting software system was a beautiful, custom-built system using an ExtJS interface and Catalyst Web Framework that kept track of changes made to each judge, court and lawyer.
The web application for Forster-Long keeps track of changes made to each individual record, making it easy to ensure that changes to biographical information must be double-checked before they are made visible to clients. This double-check helps Forster-Long to ensure that information is not only up-to-date, but accurate and free of typographical errors as well. Customer subscriptions are managed easily as well. With a unique, simple user management interface, Forster-Long can easily create users that are only active for a given amount of time, which can be extended when they renew their subscription.
