The Bluetooth Liquid Pump Controller
Activating a pump from a phone
A client needed a watertight liquid pump controller that is set by a cellphone using Bluetooth. It also needed a small button to activate the pump.
MTSI designed a dual CPU circuit with a Bluetooth chip and a controller using a small 8-bit microprocessor.
The Bluetooth system receives data from an Android cellphone application that sets the dates, times and how long the timer runs. The data was sent as to the 8-bit control micro which executed the timer program.
Up to eight buttons could be trained into the system to activate it at a random time.
